2006 Spring Garden Tour

The annual Garden Tour this year is on a new schedule in the middle of May instead of the end of April. This year's gardens should be in full bloom and you will probably see plants that haven't been seen before because of the early shows in past years. Admission is $13, for information call 800-559-2956.

A real treat of Old-Madison is the garden belonging to Jennifer Bates at 420 East Second Street. This garden is not officially on the tour. It is the garden of the late J.L. Webster a Master Gardner. J. L. spent many early mornings on his hands and knees caring for this garden and talking to the birds. It comes alive in the spring and is worth seeing if you can get in.
