This restaurant is housed in an old button factory at the far east end of Madison just north of the Ohio River.  If you are able to have a table by a window the view of the River and Madison-Milton Bridge is excellent.  It is hard here in the land-locked Midwest to find a really good seafood dinner; but at the Key West Shrimp House they have been providing such dinners and lunches in Madison for more than 25 years.  The salad bar provides such Key West specialties as chunky dill pickles and watermelon pickles.  A standard to each table is the basket of garlic toast to go along with
the salad.  Their double baked potato is far above average.  Please save room for the wonderful whiskey bread pudding
or other fine desserts.
